KAREN CUMMINGS, Founder/Girl Boss
1) She loves her furry friends and is currently fostering a little two-year-old cutie that needs a home!
2) Karen & Travis (hubby) will be heading to Italy this Fall!
3) Obsessed with Game of Thrones – and John Snow better come back to life (he may already have by the time this posts…)
4) Sushiya is her favorite sushi place – delicious & inexpensive! The staff is always very friendly and they have fun, local sushi rolls like the ASU roll and others!
5) She loves South Chandler FAST, a local gym managed by the one and only Travis Cummings! They have boot camps, personal training and sports training. Their trainers are educated and certified and focus on gains and injury prevention. They rock!
JESSICA VAN LIEW, Content Strategist
1) Jessica will be moving to Washington for a year with her boyfriend, Matt, and her two dog children!
2) Music is so important to Jessica – from going to the symphony to catching a show at the Rhythm Room, there’s nothing better.
3) Currently obsessed with podcasts – listens whenever she gets a chance…. while driving, watering plants, walking the dogs–can’t get enough! One fun tidbit, recently heard on a podcast: Edgar Allan Poe may have known how to time travel!
4) She loves a good thrift/second hand/vintage store & tries to stop by Goodwill once a week to look for records, books and clothes. She’s even lucked out finding The Beatles White album there!
5) Jessica created an Instagram for one of her dogs – check her out at @audreythepom
6) Favorite thing in the world besides Matt and her dogs is to travel. “I want to see the WORLD!”
7) Interested in ghost hunting? So is Jessica, who once went in a super old building in Mesa. Would love to do it in Bisbee or Jerome next!
CHRISTINA ELFRING, Social Media Strategist
1) Christina’s has been lucky enough to travel to 4 continents & lived in 3 of them. Belfast, Northern Ireland still holds her heart (Where else do you see happy cows and pink sheep?).
2) She LOVES chasing new adventures from local yoga dance parties to bungee jumping at Victoria Falls.
3) To find her happy place, Christina gardens despite killing everything in this AZ heat. Her favorite garden was full of Tulips and a cherry tree while living in Germany. She also gets her zen on with good music and a run.
4) What really gets her excited – a great ad campaign! Currently, she’s crushing on Axosoft’s ‘It was never a dress’ campaign. #GirlPower She is also obsessed with Bitmojis!
5) Her favorite local spots are Postinos, San Tan Brewery, and Joe’s Real BBQ! Yumm!
BROOKE KWASNY, Marketing Coordinator
1) Her favorite local spot is Joe’s Farm Grill. She s history, and loves that the restaurant is Joe’s childhood home.
2) Brooke LOVES to travel. Her favorite city in the world is Toledo, Spain, and her 10-year travel goal is to make it to all 50 states. Only 19 to go!
3) Favorite book is The Counte of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
4) Volunteering is Brooke’s passion. In college, she was a brother (yes, brother) in Alpha Phi Omega, the largest community service fraternity in the world.
5) Her last name means sour in Polish.
